| Wallabies are usually found in Australia. In zoos. In movies for children.
They're not often found hopping across roads in Pierce County. But Thursday was the exception.
KIRO Radio reports a Pierce County Sheriff's deputy made a wallaby-crossing stop, thinking he was seeing a kangaroo on the loose. (Close -- wallabies are like little kangaroos.) |
